I have a group of menus from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel dining room, circa 1930's. All are signed on the front cover. The menus themselves are interesting and colorful and all are in very good or excellent condition, with autographs that are in fine condition. Some of the signatures on these menus would make good cuts, all of the menus would look great matted in full with a photo of the star.
I just purchased a movie stars and music stars autograph collection from the family of an in person collector (circa late 1940's- early 1950's).

Some of the autographs are very large cuts which were cut from autograph album pages.
Many have a small magazine picture of the star glued to the page.
Many are personalized to Virginia.
Most are signed in fountain pen, a few in ball point. No pencil signatures. Signatures are very strong in almost every case, those that are not are noted. Some of the pages have a signature on the back, if it is noteworthy I will note it.
Here is how I describe the autographs on my list:
ap - Signature on full album page. Note: these pages were torn out of the autograph albums, by the family, and in many cases one edge of the page is ragged, but autographs are totally unaffected. The ragged part of the page can easily be clipped off.
c - Very large cut, almost all of these are cut from autograph album pages. These cuts are almost all 3x4 or larger.
p - Small fan magazine picture on page with signature. Pictures don't touch signature.
per - Personalized.
st - small stain in corner of page, not touching autograph.
sh - light show through of signature or pasted picture from other side of page.
t - the page has some light toning or discoloration, not touching autograph unless noted.

All these autographs are on high quality, heavy stock album pages or high quality heavy stock (linen or heavy card) 3x5 cards. All autographs in ink unless noted. Some are personalized. All these autographs were signed in the 1930's and were recently purchased by me from the original owner's family.
I bought an autograph collection from a man whose father was the head bartender at the famous 21 Nightclub in New York City in the 1970's. He was an autograph collector who collected on his own and had his father collect autographs for him of the famous and not so famous at the 21 Nightclub. The autographs I am offering now are on the back of picture postcards of the 21 Nightclub and most do go through the printing on the back of the postcard. These are personalized to Joseph or Joe. Many of the cards have a small portion of the signature going through the printing on the back of the postcard.
These autographs are on 2x4 sheets of paper from a lined note pad. The ink signatures are signed across the lines, except for a few noted ones signed on the line. (pers) means personalized to Pat.
Autographs on business cards, index cards, etc. Ink signatures unless noted. These autographs are all in quality condition and will make a fine addition to any autograph collection.
